PS.NY Teams Up with West Elm To Help Animals in Need

October 22, 2015 PS.NY

We are so happy to announce one of the most fun and creative collaborations that we’ve done all year!

This year, West Elm partnered up with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to create holiday ornaments and tea towels inspired by some of Instagram’s most popular pets, including Cookie! For every product sold, West Elm will donate $1 to the ASPCA!

We started working on this collaboration over a year ago, and the process involved many meetings and sniffings. The Director of Accessories/Lighting Don Macciocca and the VP of Textiles Nancy Tseui were very appreciative of Cookie’s valuable insights and had a great time discussing the project with him during their meetings. After sketches drawn by illustrator Rachel Kozlowski were approved, the West Elm design team created the final ornaments and tea towels that are to be sold online and in stores.

Cookie took up residence in west elm president Jim Brett’s office. He’s about to get down to business.

Cookie was sure to provide constructive criticism.
